numfmt: prefer signed types

* src/numfmt.c (suffix_power_char, powerld, expld)
(simple_strtod_int, double_to_human, prepare_padded_number)
(process_suffixed_number): Prefer signed types.
(process_suffixed_number): Fix an unlikely bug if an
arg has exactly 2**32 spaces at the start.
