From e155e2f99938555576b25b1be4a31a3c0a492ae4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?utf8?q?Peter=20M=C3=BCller?= Date: Tue, 18 Apr 2023 20:52:00 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] linux: Compile "Intel XHCI USB Role Switch" as a module on x86_64 MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit From the kernel documentation: > Driver for the internal USB role switch for switching the USB data > lines between the xHCI host controller and the dwc3 gadget controller > found on various Intel SoCs. [...] This may unblock USB-LAN-adaptor usage on certain boards, as reported once in #12750. Overall affected devices seem to be scanty; nevertheless, enabling this as a module only is highly unlikely to cause any harm, so let's give it a try.
