  26 mime.convs \- mime type conversion file for cups
  27 .SH DESCRIPTION
  28 The \fImime.convs\fR file defines the filters that are available for
  29 converting files from one format to another. The standard filters
  30 support text, PDF, PostScript, HP-GL/2, and many types of image files.

  32 Additional filters can be added to the \fImime.convs\fR file or to
  33 other files in the configuration directory (\fB/etc/cups\fR) with
  34 the extension ".convs".

  36 Each line in the \fImime.types\fR file is a comment, blank, or filter
  37 line. Comment lines start with the # character. Filter lines specify
  38 the source and destination MIME types along with a relative cost
  39 associated with the filter and the filter to run:
