  13 mdadm is a tool for creating, managing and monitoring
  14 device arrays using the "md" driver in Linux, also
  15 known as Software RAID arrays.

  17 Release 1.5.0 adds:
  18   - new command "mdassemble" for use in initrd/initramfs.
  19   - raid6 support (for 2.6.2 and later kernels)
  20   - RebuildFinished event in monitor mode.
  21   - include rebuild status in --detail output.
  22   - fixes for assorted compilation problems
