From: Amir Goldstein Date: Mon, 31 Oct 2016 23:38:19 +0000 (+1100) Subject: xfs_io: add command line option -i to start an idle thread X-Git-Tag: v4.9.0-rc1~24 X-Git-Url: http://git.ipfire.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?a=commitdiff_plain;h=405eac72c028869d9285e4df038777f9b855d41a;p=thirdparty%2Fxfsprogs-dev.git xfs_io: add command line option -i to start an idle thread xfs_io -i will start by spawning an idle thread. The purpose of this idle thread is to test io from a multi threaded process. With single threaded process, the file table is not shared and file structs are not reference counted. Spawning an idle thread can help detecting file struct reference leaks.
