As such, "Ket" is used in most translations. "Nann" is less used as it's the negative answer to a negatively phrased question See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yes_and_no for explanations about languages with 3 or 4 form systems. We still keep "Nn" for short answers as: - new learners are used to "Non" in french - and they often misuses "Nann" - for compatibility with english [BZ #21706] * localedata/locales/br_FR (LC_MESSAGES): Fix nostr. --- diff --git a/ChangeLog b/ChangeLog index fe715d9348c..9cfd1912b13 100644 --- a/ChangeLog +++ b/ChangeLog @@ -1,3 +1,8 @@ +2017-10-26 Thierry Vignaud + + [BZ #21706] + * localedata/locales/br_FR (LC_MESSAGES): Fix nostr. + 2017-10-25 Carlos O'Donell * locale/programs/record-status.h: Define globals, and function diff --git a/localedata/locales/br_FR b/localedata/locales/br_FR index 34b134c9c7f..808ac80e3b4 100644 --- a/localedata/locales/br_FR +++ b/localedata/locales/br_FR @@ -97,9 +97,9 @@ END LC_CTYPE LC_MESSAGES yesexpr "^[+1oOyY]" -noexpr "^[-0nN]" +noexpr "^[-0kKnN]" yesstr "Ya" -nostr "Nann" +nostr "Ket" END LC_MESSAGES LC_MONETARY
