From: Joseph Myers Date: Wed, 4 Oct 2017 15:57:53 +0000 (+0000) Subject: Remove alpha nearbyint wrapper. X-Git-Tag: glibc-2.27~745 X-Git-Url: http://git.ipfire.org/cgi-bin/gitweb.cgi?a=commitdiff_plain;h=72d13ed1bdb3154adce67a74b7d6ec240a6b12a4;p=thirdparty%2Fglibc.git Remove alpha nearbyint wrapper. Given my recent changes, sysdeps/alpha/fpu/s_nearbyint.c is no longer needed: it just includes the dbl-64/wordsize-64 version, which is the one that would be used anyway, and defines a compat symbol, duplicating the same compat symbol defined by the dbl-64/wordsize-64 version through use of libm_alias_double. Thus, this patch removes the redundant wrapper. Tested with build-many-glibcs.py that installed stripped shared libraries are unchanged for alpha. * sysdeps/alpha/fpu/s_nearbyint.c: Remove file. --- diff --git a/ChangeLog b/ChangeLog index 31f402a7f6b..d326995de13 100644 --- a/ChangeLog +++ b/ChangeLog @@ -1,3 +1,7 @@ +2017-10-04 Joseph Myers + + * sysdeps/alpha/fpu/s_nearbyint.c: Remove file. + 2017-10-04 Florian Weimer * scripts/check-local-headers.sh: Ignore nspr4 header file diff --git a/sysdeps/alpha/fpu/s_nearbyint.c b/sysdeps/alpha/fpu/s_nearbyint.c deleted file mode 100644 index c3f204fff1f..00000000000 --- a/sysdeps/alpha/fpu/s_nearbyint.c +++ /dev/null @@ -1,25 +0,0 @@ -/* Copyright (C) 2000-2017 Free Software Foundation, Inc. - This file is part of the GNU C Library. - Contributed by Richard Henderson. - - The GNU C Library is free software; you can redistribute it and/or - modify it under the terms of the GNU Lesser General Public - License as published by the Free Software Foundation; either - version 2.1 of the License, or (at your option) any later version. - - The GNU C Library is distributed in the hope that it will be useful, - but WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY; without even the implied warranty of - MERCHANTABILITY or FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
