From 9d8107579ce4f2369ea3f670585710c30b14a4b4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: =?utf8?q?Andr=C3=A9=20Draszik?= Date: Wed, 17 Dec 2025 11:45:06 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] gpio: max77759: drop use of irqd_get_trigger_type MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=utf8 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 8bit irqd_get_trigger_type() is meant for cases where the driver needs to know the configured IRQ trigger type and e.g. wants to change its behaviour accordingly. Furthermore, platform support code, e.g. DT handling, will configure the hardware based on that, and drivers don't need to pass the trigger type into request_irq() and friends. Drop the use from this driver, as it doesn't need to know the trigger type.
