lib/configs: simplify variable names

Shorten variable and parameter names for better readability:

Parameters:
- etc_subdir -> etcdir
- run_subdir -> rundir
- usr_subdir -> usrdir
- config_name -> confname
- config_suffix -> suffix

Local variables:
- etc_file_list -> etc_list
- run_file_list -> run_list
- usr_file_list -> usr_list
