Fix Windows quicktest, paths and bats

Mostly about path shenaningans, with the drive letter and backslashes
Also hack in some support for running echo command, and batch files.

All tests now pass, at least on Wine (but with some "fixme" warnings):
PASSED: 458 assertions, 89 tests, 10 suites
