clearer and does not spuriously match multiple ('s.  Likewise for
) and *.

* gdb.base/nodebug.exp: Test ability to call a function and pass
it a string (even with no debugging info).

* emultempl/sunos.em (gld${EMULATION_NAME}_find_so): Set force_maj
