From 9f575145ea27daca9bc3ac86d1c4f42273b4306a Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Andrew Sayers Date: Wed, 29 Jan 2025 13:13:04 +0000 Subject: [PATCH] Reduce priority of "cleared HibernateLocation" message This message appears when a computer hibernates, then awakens, then reboots, and everything goes OK. It's a normal progress message the user doesn't need to know about, but it distracts them from important startup messages and could even train them to ignore the warning when the procedure fails. Reduce the level to LOG_INFO. --- src/hibernate-resume/hibernate-resume.c | 2 +- 1 file changed, 1 insertion(+), 1 deletion(-) diff --git a/src/hibernate-resume/hibernate-resume.c b/src/hibernate-resume/hibernate-resume.c index c6494b99a91..d86f4ad18f0 100644 --- a/src/hibernate-resume/hibernate-resume.c +++ b/src/hibernate-resume/hibernate-resume.c @@ -120,7 +120,7 @@ static int action_clear(void) { r = clear_efi_hibernate_location_and_warn(); if (r > 0) - log_notice("Successfully cleared HibernateLocation EFI variable."); + log_info("Successfully cleared HibernateLocation EFI variable."); return r; } -- 2.47.3
