28 \fI/etc/group\fP is an ASCII file which defines the groups to which users
29 belong. There is one entry per line, and each line has the format:

32 group_name:passwd:GID:user_list

35 The field descriptions are:
36 .IP group_name
37 the name of the group.
38 .IP password
39 the (encrypted) group password. If this field is
40 empty, no password is needed.
