  28 securetty \- file which lists terminals from which root can log in
  29 .SH DESCRIPTION
  30 The file
  31 .I /etc/securetty
  32 contains the names of terminals
  33 (one per line, without leading
  34 .IR /dev/ )
  35 which are considered secure for the transmission of certain authentication
  36 tokens.

  40 to restrict the terminals
  41 on which root is allowed to login.
