  38 \fBenable\fR starts the named printers or classes.

  40 \fBdisable\fR stops the named printers or classes.  The following options may
  41 be used:

  45 Cancels all jobs on the named destination.

  47 \-r [ \fIreason\fR ]

  49 Sets the message associated with the stopped state. If no reason is specified
  50 then the message is set to "Reason Unknown".
  51 .SH COMPATIBILITY
  52 The CUPS versions of \fBdisable\fR and \fBenable\fR may ask the user for an
  53 access password depending on the printing system configuration.  This differs
  54 from the System V versions which require the root user to execute these
  55 commands.
