  23 .SH DESCRIPTION
  24 \fBppdmerge\fR merges two or more PPD files into a single, multi-language
  25 PPD file.
  26 \fBThis program is deprecated and will be removed in a future release of CUPS.\fR
  27 .SH OPTIONS
  28 \fBppdmerge\fR supports the following options:
  29 .TP
  30 \fB\-o \fIoutput-ppd-file\fR
  31 Specifies the PPD file to create.
  32 If not specified, the merged PPD file is written to the standard output.
  33 If the output file already exists, it is silently overwritten.
  34 .SH NOTES
  35 \fBppdmerge\fR does not check whether the merged PPD files are for the same device.
  36 Merging of different device PPDs will yield unpredictable results.
